The book of Psalms is a collection of poems and songs written during a span of time that began with Moses and stretched through to Israel’s time in captivity. It’s a beautiful book containing declarations of God’s goodness and faithfulness, even among times of trial and suffering. There is no one author although David wrote more than any other. Additional writers include Solomon, Asaph, the sons of Korah, Ethan., Moses, and several are anonymous.

Instead of giving a summary and providing overarching themes, I’m going to include a list of psalms below that you can explore. I did a series a few years back called The Cry of a Heart and broke down several of the psalms. So, based on what you might be going through, dive into the psalms below.
